The people of Rohan spoke mainly old English or Anglo Saxon as it is most commonly known. Now we don't read too much of it but we do know that greetings such as "WestueTheodinhal" witch I have spelled fanedically as one word hear came directly from ancient texts with the exeption of elvish names witch might have cropped up once and a while. The lanuage of the old north men from who the roherim where desended however was actually perhaps gothic in oragin since the name Leod for example who was the father of eorl and many other old north men names are gothic.
