Fans of the books and the movies beware when dealing with the film version of the Two Towers since it contains significant changes when compared with the book. Since my last mini-blog was about the outbreak of the war of the ring, I thought I wood write down a few differences this pivotal seen in the book has in relationship to the movie. In the movie Gandalf talks about Théoden’s decision to go to helms deep as though it was a disaster waiting to happen. In the book Gandalf is the one who convinces him to go and fight the orcs in the first place. The next key difference between the film and the book is that Marry and Pippin don't convince the Nets to help the fellowship with turns the tide in the novel while in the movie they humorously sway tree beard in to joining forces with the proactive members of the company of the ring. Finally it is Archenbrand and not Eomar lord of the mark who saves the forces at helms deep in the books. Why the hell Eomar did not take part in the battle in the movie I cannot say. I hope you have enjoyed this knew mini-blog.
